Message from the owner Todd R. Levine DDS

First, I want everyone to know it took only 4 months for us to complete all the site work and then construct an Extremely Modern, Environmentally friendly Green building that the City of Buffalo should be very proud of!!! I would like everyone to know that every City of Buffalo Official who had anything to do with planning, approval or inspection of this project, helped speed this process along in an extremely efficient and seamless manner. I know this is counter to what many people have heard before!

The greatest thanks goes to David Marotta, Owner of Marotta Management, inc. and members of his crew. This is my sixth major project with him. Anyone who has been involved in a building project is aware of how time consuming it can be. However, in my case, other then stopping by the building site to take pictures, I had virtually no interruption of my normal business operations while Dave and his crew built our newest and most high tech Green office to date!!!

The below architectural drawing is what we are aiming for... lets see how close we get!!!

These are early pictures after the beginning of construction. You can clearly see the white outline of the building's perimeter. Believe it or not, this is a Styrofoam outline of a specially insulated concrete. We were not just interested in building a high tech office from the ground up! We wanted to do our part in helping the environment by building GREEN! The white rectangles toward the front (Hertel AVE.) side is where the future columns will go.

The next picture is a close up of all the color coded lines and conduit that will bring the air,water, suction, power, audio/visual, radiographic security and computer systems into each treatment room. Through years of practice, we have carefully fine tuned everything in order to bring the best in technology to our valued patients!!!

The next stage was to build the walls and there initial supports. The best way to describe this process is to have you think of your children putting Lego^® blocks together! Instead of plastic, there were Styrofoam blocks being snapped together!. Inside there are metal attachments and supports to both hold the Styrofoam together and then give the concrete extra support after it was poured.

You have heard of Jack in the Box... Well we have Roof in the Box!

What about the inside? Internally, there is mostly metal framing. Below (L) is a picture from the future waiting room looking into the front office. Below (R) is a view of the front office from the left treatment section

Back outside again!! The brick is now completely installed. You are looking at the front entrance. Hertel Ave and West Hertel Elementary School are in the background

On the left is my future Front office (I think!!!). I hope the Front Office Manager Tammie is not buried under those boxes! On the right looks like my bedroom (only kidding if my wife reads this!!).

***** GRAND OPENING *****

We finally did it!!!! City of Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown and North District Council Member Joeseph Golombek, Jr. gave us a FANTASTIC Grand Opening Ceremony (see below pictures!!). Also, we want to thank the people of Buffalo for giving us an AMAZING start too! Everyone is now invited to see why we believe we have the best modern and green dental office in Western New York!!!!

You finally get to see me in these pictures (Todd R. Levine DDS). I am the one who looks like a TV reporter! The funniest thing is I almost NEVER wear anything other then jeans, short sleeve shirts and sneakers!! Also, I am usually the one on the OTHER side of the camera taking the pictures of everyone else!

I had the honor of showing Both Mayor Brown and Councilman Golombek what makes our dental office so special! They saw first hand all of the VERY modern dental technology that all of our patients will be able to take advantage of! On top of this, I was able to show them how our patients and their families can be entertained and stay in touch with the use of personal TV's and Large Screen Imac Computers! We even have games for all ages!!!
