North Tonawanda and the surrounding communities will be very proud of what we are bringing!!!! Todd R. Levine DDS has picked another great location. Aspire Family Dental® is located next to Budwey's Supermarket, Pine Woods Animal Hospital, Tim Hortons, Mobile Gas Station, Rite Aid Pharmacy and Wilson Farms!!!!!! He wanted to make sure the office was in a centralized area, had easy access for everyone, and of course built in a way that everyone can take advantage of the best in high tech dental treatment!! Of course we will have ample free parking and ALL the great features that Aspire Family Dental® is known for!!!! We are about to bring dentistry to another level in North Tonawanda!!!!
On July 14th the site work was started on our highly energy efficient Green building. As you will see below, we are using Insulated Concrete Forms (ICF) in our construction. We are on schedule to open up the Newest High Tech dental office in November of this year! Look below and see our progress!!!
What a difference a day makes! Well, unfortunately a little Destructions takes place before the Construction starts! We need to make sure we have a good base for the new building.
ICF construction is very different then a normal wood (stick) building. Since there is a tremendous amount of concrete that will be placed, accuracy is VERY critical. The footers are just the beginning. As you see further below, Another insulated concrete lay will be added on top of the footers.
It is starting to take shape! Below is the outside of the forms which makes ICF Construction special. The forms will actually stay in place after the concrete is poured! As you can see, strength, insulation and energy conservation starts below ground level.
In a way, it is kind of funny how basic this kind of construction is! You can see there is the basic rebar typical concrete construction. If you take a closer look, you will see the connecting supports which hold the forms together. It seriously reminds me of working with my son and putting construction models together! The supports are simply just slid into the above attachments located in the forms.
